We hope that you and your families are well and safe.
PPP Loans Last Thursday, Congress passed the PPP Flexibility Act that makes it easier for Paycheck Protection Program loan recipients to get their loans forgiven. Once signed into law by the President, the new law will:
Extend the deadline to use the PPP funds (from 8 weeks to 24 weeks)
Extend the deadline to apply for loan forgiveness (formerly June 30, now December 31)
Allow up to 40% of the PPP loan to be spent on non-payroll expenses such as rent, mortgage interest, and utilities (formerly a maximum of 25% was allowed)
Please reach out to us if you need any advisory assistance with your relief program applications.
Cyber Security Following last year’s update of our systems and technologies, we have allowed our clients a safer and easier way to submit materials to us via our Client Portal. Starting next week, we will begin utilizing our Client Portal for delivery of our tax returns and other confidential materials. This will eliminate the need to send files via email, the least secure transit method.
If you haven’t used our portal yet, please take a moment to test your access and let us know if you need any assistance. You may reach out to your direct account manager or our tax admin staff for any support.
